There are many ways that you can use indoor benches and there is no set rule for what room or area of the house you use them in. For instance, you can use an indoor bench near the front or back door so that people can sit down and remove their shoes or boots. In the kitchen, a bench can double as additional counter space in an emergency or could hold books, plants and other decorative items, as well as allowing for additional seating. In a hallway, they can take the place of a hall table and you can use indoor benches in the utility room both to sit on and as a low folding table so that the children can be pressed into laundry duty.
